“Our darkest hour, its radiant time” is the new video of the photographer Michele Alassio. They are his latest series of photographs, made in Venice during the Covid-19 lockdown. Free from the suffocating mass of tourists, free from traffic, free from pollution and noise, Venice showed itself for the first time, and probably the only time in its history, in all its amazing beauty. “If you like it, turn it around, the future is very uncertain,” says Michele, “And turn up the sound, it’s worth it.“
