Last Friday, May 24, IED – Istituto Europeo di Design celebrated the arrival in Spain 25 years ago – in Madrid in 1994 and Barcelona in 2002 – with the annual IED DESIGN FEST.For the 5th edition, workshops, conferences and exhibitions took place at IED Madrid showing the latest trends in creativity, innovation and design.The facade of the Palacio de Altamira was covered with some of IED Madrid and IED Barcelona renowned alumni!Since 1966, the IED has developed innovative and diversified teaching methodologies, focused on synergies between technology and experimentation, creativity, strategies and integrated communication, market issues and a new form of professionalism. Thus does the Istituto Europeo di Design offer young professionals working in the fields of Fashion, Design and Communication the knowledge and the effective tools they need to cater for the constantly developing requirements of the working world.For more than fifty years, the Istituto Europeo di Design has been operating in the fields of education and research in the disciplines of design, fashion, visual communication and management. Today, the IED is a constantly expanding international network that issues first-level academic diplomas and organises three-year courses, Masters courses, continuous professional development and advanced training courses.
