Aprilia -the Italian brand, which boasts a trophy case with 54 world titles in the various motorcycle-racing disciplines: World Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing, Superbike, Off-Road and Trial- and MT Distribution kick off their joint urban e-mobility project with the launch of Aprilia eSR1, the e-scooter with an unmistakable sporting DNA.Light, safe and fun to ride, Aprilia eSR1 was designed by the Aprilia style centre and it is a practical solution to move swiftly around our congested cities. The eSR1 was developed to guarantee the utmost comfort. It is fitted with an extractable battery, which can be easily removed and recharged at home or at the office, while also making it possible to double the range of the e-scooter simply by carrying a back-up battery.The scooter is powered by a 350W brushless motor powered by a 280Wh battery, which can travel up to 30km with one charge. eSR1 is equipped with an extractable battery, for a more comfortable recharge at home or in the office, but also to “double” the autonomy of the vehicle by bringing with it a spare battery. We also find 10 ”wheels with anti-puncture tubeless tires, magnesium alloy frame and braking system consisting of a double front electric brake and a rear disc brake. The equipment is completed by LED lights and a 3.5 ” LCD display integrated into the handlebar.
Aprilia eSR1 is available from December in selected Piaggio Group dealers in Italy as a limited preview release. From 20 January 2021, it is also available in consumer electronics stores, specialized stores and major online stores.
