Waiting for Light + Building 2018, where at LG Display booth (Agora Stand A30), Luflex, LG OLED light, displays various works of art created with Luflex panels and new technology, we will present the winners of “LG OLED Design Competition 2017”. At the end of 2017 Luflex held an international design competition called “LG OLED Design Competition 2017” to provide a special opportunity to designers, architects, professionals, and people around the world who are interested in Luflex LG OLED light’s technology. In Frankfurt on December 14, 2017, the 7 juries Peter Zec, Seala Park, Sungsoo Park, Stefano Giovannoni, Ichiro Iwasaki, Torsten Valeur, and Stefan Stark of the competition, during a special event for evaluating the submitted design works, have gathered up to select the winners of the competition and they were impressed with the high-quality designs. The winners of the two categories, Lighting Design and Space Design are: Lighting Design 1st Place: Richard Stone / Interwoven Luminance 2nd Place: Alexandre Boucher / Versailles 3rd Place: – Gilberto Ceriani and Anna Szostak / Tensione evolutiva – Samuel Accoceberry / Twig Lamp – Raphael Delstanche / Ensō Lamp Space Design: 1st Place: Takashi Kubo / Light-Brick 2nd Place: Nikolay Hristov Ivanov / Light Column 3rd Place: – Jinyoung Song and Jongmin Shim / Snapping Light Surface – Karl-Alexandre Collas / Bulbe – Chia Yi Sim / Dance of Paper Lights This year, Luflex at Light + Building 2018 especially exhibit the design prototypes from each of the 6 winners of the 2017 Competition.
