Designed by the studio Romero & Vallejo and produced by outdoor furniture company Diabla, the Ploid collection is a modular feat conceived from minimalism. Composed of only three elements, there is nothing you can’t achieve with them: from a simple armchair to a chaise lounge, a loveseat, a straight sofa with unlimited seats, a flat surface that can be used as a chaise lounge or a huge chill-out bed. Additionally, its elements can be easily reconfigured according to the needs of the moment. Its bases with a continuous skate-style leg can be joined so that they do not move. The voluminous backrests and cushions can also be attached, by means of invisible zippers. This collection not only allows you to create multiple seats but also cohesive ambiences. The PLOID central module can be configured to create anything from individual armchair or chaise lounge to a multi-seat sofa. The corner module is a piece designed specifically with a double orientation so that it can be placed interchangeably on the left or on the right side. And a pouf completes the series. The side table can be adapted to any style thank to its simple aesthetic. Ploid was launched at Gandia Blasco Madrid Showroom in Calle Marqués de Monasterio 1 during Madrid Design Festival.Founded by architects Sara Romero and Mariano Vallejo in 2004, Romero & Vallejo studio is specialized in integral projects of architecture, interior design, product design and creative direction.
