Creativity, craftsmanship, quality of materials used and unbridled passion for contemporary art and design. These are the components which enabled Creativando today to distribute its creations around the world. Creativando’s products take shape in the workshops of expert local Italian artisans. Every phase of the project is followed meticulously, from the research to the idea and in end to the realization, by performing particular stages of finishing and assembling, always with utmost attention to the quality of the workmanship and every single detail.

“ A work of art, an everyday object, an image or a phrase that gets stuck in our head.” Laura Ellero and Mauro Bassani, founder of  this small craftsmanship brand totally Made in Italy, draw inspiration from everything around them to create original products, handmade in Italy with selected materials, graphically interpreted by artists and graphic designers: re-elaborating, inventing, experimenting…getting creative.

For more than ten years, Creativando has been collaborating with the Keith Haring Foundation to reproduce, in an unusually and originally way, some of the works of the famous painter and writer who have been involved in the development of contemporary American art and then worldwide. A style that combines perfectly with that of the Udinese company that, thanks to this collaboration, was able to be present with its creations at the Triennale Stores in Milan, at the Biennale di Venezia and at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.

As the Trilogy table was born, the story told by designer Fabio Flora

“On a warm day of June, I met Mauro under the beautiful porticoes of Via Mercatovecchio, in Udine. He asked me if I was in the mood to design a new collection of complements, starting from a low table. So we agreed to talk each others at Creativando show-room. Mauro clarified the brief of the project: materials, maximum size, costs, etc. As he explained it all, I translated my ideas into drawings. Getting from my grammar, I  started from the equilateral triangle, a symbol of proportion,  to add circles that, without edges, convey an idea of infinity and harmony. This is how the Trilogy collection was born. From “3”, the perfect number and the composition of simple geometric figures.” Three different heights and sinuous lines: the simplicity and perfection of the circle are the protagonists for this coffee table perfect next to the couch or the favorite armchair, it can be bedside table, bathroom counter top, coffee table in the waiting rooms: Trilogy can be used at home, in office or in community.

Clock in a box

Conceibed by C.B. Farinar, artist and designer, Clock in a Box is  at the same time, simple and creative, practical and surprising.  Clock in a box is a collection of 15 differents wall clocks made In Italy with cardboard, coupled to uncoated fine paper. You can hang it or use it on a shelf.
