For designers, but also for those who love beautiful things, paper represents the tactility, the concrete consistency that design often leaves back, especially now that the taste for typographical ancient charm is strong and inspiration for new trends. Fedrigoni since years now produces paper and self-adhesive products, operating in the packaging and the production of editorial items for business, art, document printing; now at its ninth edition, the Fedrigoni Top Award just ended at Stationers’ Hall in London, where in addition to the award ceremony of the sixteen winners there is an ongoing exhibition of all the finalists’ projects. The intent is to tell about the paper’s journeys processing into the final product, through five categories: Books, Corporate Publishing, Labels, Packaging, HP Indigo Digital Printing. The winners projects were focused on these subjects showing how, at international level, despite the progressive de-materialization the paper is a powerful inspirational tool, and how any of these ideas is necessarily the sum of design, printing or packaging material: three professionalism that grow and innovate. Here are the winners : For the Books category : Une promenade – Harald Fernagu Atelier Tout va bien , for Corporate Publishing : Rapport d’activité du CNAP 2012 of The Shelf Company, for HP Indigo Digital Printing : Book of copies of San Rocco magazine , for Label : the ermita beer Nueve estudio and Packaging : Sobrassada Unic of Deberlou with special reporting projects Kräuterlikör Marienapotheke Wasserburg Ulrike Zeizel and Marie Stella Maris Ultimate Graphics & Design.
