Incipit is not a corporate group or a craft shop: is a collective of young talents and also a training workshop that calls designers to collaborate and share knowledge about projects and business. Based in Milan, the Incipit project was born from an idea of Marta Bernstein and Roberto Hoz, who wanted to create a modern vision of a Renaissance atelier, a place where skills and ideas can be re-evaluated with the support of industry professionals in field of construction. One of the rules of Incipit is making in collaboration a success, focusing on a process realized entirely in Italy, by companies and artisans considered an active part of the product’s creation, always crowdfunding abilities. The workshop aims to the concreteness and the transformation of every idea in pieces used in the market, thanks to the e-commerce sales made trough the site itself. Incipit considered also this year Ventura-Lambrate as the most viable alternative to present the second collection, enriched with seven new objects and including in the materials’s folder the cement with natural wood, ceramic and metal. New pieces have sharp and shiny shape and are suitable to decorate home and office, with the lighting collection and accessories for the kitchen, until the new entry of this year: the Pop Series, four items that ironically cheat on their form and function, introducing some new designers to the list of Incipit or reconfirming someone else from the first year, under the guidance of the designer and art director Ilaria Innocenti (you’ll see in the video interview). Ilaria have confirmed the ability to creaty from the simplicity great ideas and especially great products.
