The 44th edition of ARCOmadrid, the International Contemporary Art Fair organized by IFEMA MADRID, will run until Sunday, March 9. ARCO will dedicate the first three days exclusively to collectors and professionals, and on Friday, March 7, it will open its doors to the public starting at 3:00 PM.

With an exceptional selection of 214 galleries from 36 countries, the fair fosters a broad dialogue between innovative proposals from the international art scene. This event goes beyond the market, also encouraging discovery, reflection, and artistic research.
This year, 178 galleries will participate in the General Program, joined by curated sections:
- Wametisé: Ideas for an Amazofuturism, featuring 15 galleries
- Opening: New Galleries, with 18 galleries
- Profiles | Latin American Art, with 10 galleries
Additionally, 32 Artist Projects will be presented by 32 galleries.
Furthermore, ArtsLibris will once again be present at ARCOmadrid, featuring over 80 publishers from 20 countries, along with various publication presentations at the Arts Libris Speaker’s Corner.
As in previous editions, the Forum will once again bring together the voices of contemporary art professionals, solidifying its role as an essential platform for reflection and knowledge-sharing for critics, curators, institution directors, and other experts.
Architecture and design will also play a prominent role. The Pedro Pitarch Studio is responsible for the spatial design of ARCOmadrid 2025’s common areas. Meanwhile, the Institute for Postnatural Studies will design the gallery space for the Wametisé: Ideas for an Amazofuturism section. The Guest Lounge will be designed by Mesura Studio, while Sala 44 will be a project by Mausha Marsá and David Jiménez. The Fundación ARCO Lounge will feature a design by Manuel Espejo, and Studio Mo will oversee the A Very Welcoming Lounge (AVWL). Additionally, L.A. Studio will once again decorate the Presentations Lounge.
ARCOmadrid will provide professionals and visitors with relaxation areas, meeting spaces, and gastronomic experiences, such as:
- ARCOlunch by Iberia, served by Mallorca (stand 9D49)
- Food Court, featuring a selection by Artigot (connecting pavilions 5 and 7)
ARCOmadrid 2025 benefits from the institutional support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) and AECID, as well as sponsorships from Lexus, Ruinart, illy, Cervezas Alhambra, Iberia, El Corte Inglés, Frédéric Malle, Radisson RED, Bodegas ENATE, Água das Pedras, Fundación Banco Santander, and Leica.
ARCOmadrid 2025 will take place from March 5 to 9 in Halls 7 and 9 of the IFEMA MADRID Fairgrounds, with the first three days exclusively dedicated to professionals. From 3:00 PM on Friday, March 7, the fair will open its doors to the public.
