Founded by Farzin Adenwalla, Bombay Atelier is a Mumbai based design company which specializes on creating functional and clean furniture and lighting, inspired by everyday life in the urban environment. The quality of their products is part of what makes them stand out the forms, the construction details, the color and the way the company works closely with theirs makers. Each products encloses the vision of Bombay Atelier, which lies in creating classic and sustainable products, using only local materials and working with a small team of artisans and engineers. “Through our pieces we wanted to dispel the misconception that Indian products either look cheap and generic, or ostentatiously ornate. Our products are functional, beautiful and built to last.” says Farzin Adenwalla. After the January 2017 edition, HOMI ASIA DESIGN, was held between the 15th and 18th September in Milan, confirming its special vocation to promote the links between East and West to display the best of Asian Design.
