Complements are a modular system of chocolates to pair and share, made by Universal Favourite as2016 end of year client gifts. They combine 3D printing, design and the amazing chocolatier chops of Bakedown Cakery. The idea was inspired by the complementary relationship between client and designer. Wanting to create something outside the box that could be paired in endless combinations, they designed an original modular shape that was 3D printed into positives and then turned into chocolate moulds. In collaboration with Bakedown Cakery, that developed the flavours making the modular chocolates into the real deal, Universal Favourite created the look of the chocolates, experimenting with colour, finishes and patterns bringing theme to life. An independent brand, the design and digital agency thinks strategically distilling complexity. From a bold articulation of a brand’s truth to an extraordinary realisation of its experience, Universal Favourite works with organisations who want to create a better world, that works.
