LES ARCANISTES, manifesto project by STUDIOPEPE

One year after the last Salone del Mobile – that like every year is a special time for Milano and the design world -with MANIFESTO PROJECTS Studiopepe takes the occasion to ask itself some questions.
In LES ARCANISTES, presented during the Milano Design Week 2019, Arianna and Chiara went above and beyond… fascinated by themes related to the strength of symbols and the unconscious, our readings of Jung, the ancient encrypted texts of the alchemists — the forefathers of modern-day chemistry — we wanted to investigate the powerful ties between matter and the collective unconscious, that shared ancestral cultural baggage that inhabits the imagery of populations the world over. How could design not be influenced by these themes? We certainly were and so we created a tour that told the story of the importance of the matter, the creative mother and the concept of creativity itself.
